Golf in Oman

Golf in Oman is still a well-kept secret - in and around Muscat, there are five full-fledged courses set against the backdrop of the Hajar Mountains or the Gulf of Oman, and the climate makes golfing ideal from October to April.

Al Mouj Golf - Championship links course by the ocean, designed by Greg Norman and considered among the world's best. Repeatedly named the best course in Oman.

Muscat Hills Golf, La Vie - Oman's first grass course, 18 holes (par 72) nestled among the mountains, five minutes from the international airport, with a golf academy and the Tivoli Hotel on site.

Ghala Golf Club - The oldest and friendliest golf club in the country, since 1971. Eighteen holes in a wadi in the middle of Muscat, with views of the Hajar Mountains and a PGA academy.

Ras Al Hamra Golf Club - Eighteen holes through natural dunes with sea views, and the only fully illuminated course in Oman, so it can also be played in the evening when the heat has subsided.

Jebel Sifah Gulf (outside Muscat) - Picturesque nine-hole course at Harradine Golf on the coast near Sifah, with five teeing grounds, also playable as 18 holes (par 72). Great to combine with a stay in the marina town of Jebel Sifah.

We are happy to combine your golf days with the rest of Oman, from a night in the desert to a dhow cruise, and arrange tee times and transport if desired.
